Meet Marissa!

Marissa (she/her) is from Matthews, North Carolina and is a passionate mental health professional who attended UNC Chapel Hill for her undergrad and UNC Charlotte for her MSW. Prior to joining the Horizons team, she has served in both clinical and administrative roles in the mental health field, including small private practices and large mental health startups. She relocated to the Raleigh area in 2024 and is passionate about directly serving the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. As an Office Administrator, she is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for all clients seeking care.
